Nabill Jacob DOBA, CHE; BAppSc-Orthoptics(USyd), MCommHlth(USyd), MIP(ACHSM), is the Clinical Relationship Manager at Vision Australia.  Mr Jacob has held the posts of senior orthoptist at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, corneal transplant coordinator at the Save Sight Institute and worked in private ophthalmic practices in Sydney. Internationally he held the post of orthoptist at the American University of Beirut Medical Centre. Mr Jacob has also spent several years consulting on health projects in the Middle East and Asia. His interests lie in the advancement of services and clinical understanding in the area of low vision and blindness. Mr Jacob conducts accredited CPD sessions on low vision and blindness for medical, clinical and allied health professionals. He has also published low vision case studies in medical and optical journals. Mr Jacob was part of the steering committee of the NSW Health Department’s Agency for Clinical Innovation (Ophthalmology Network), developing a resource for hospital based medical professionals when dealing with vision impaired and blind inpatients. He has also been a Director of the Board at Orthoptics Australia for the past 2 years.
