(cello); Masters of Performance (cello); Australian Academy of Music performance program, Bachelor of Applied Science (Optometry), Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics, QCH Paediatric Optometry Alignment Program, ACO Certificate of Public Health and Leadership in Eye Care.

Courtenay Lind currently enjoys working in a shared role as clinic coordinator at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) School of Optometry Clinic. In addition to this she has enjoyed supervising Master of Optometry students across all clinical specialities, but most notably in paediatrics, for almost a decade. She has spent time as a practicing optometrist in many settings including specialty paediatric private practice and screening clinics, various fast-paced corporate optometry companies, several ophthalmology specialty clinics and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander shared care hospital settings. Courtenay advocates interdisciplinary collaboration and inter-professional learning and strongly believes in the further education of optometrists in order to impart a high level of care and compassion to those patients within the disability sector.

Alongside her optometry career, Courtenay has Bachelor and Master's degrees in music performance. She has studied at the National Academy of Music and is a current Australian Music Examinations Board cello examiner. She runs a long term successful private teaching studio, where her passion for working with children is again realised. She routinely adjudicates and performs in various chamber music settings across Brisbane, as well as enjoying seasonal orchestral work.
